CAIRO
– Mr. Adel Bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoomi, president of the Arab Parliament,
received HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh
Global (TAG.Global), at the Arab Parliament Headquarters in Cairo, as part of
his participation in the Arab Economic Integration Forum; organized by the Arab
Parliament in cooperation with the Arab Administrative Development Organization
(ARADO).

During
the meeting, Mr. Al-Asoomi commended  TAG.Global’s efforts  in
supporting the joint Arab action, attributed to its long-standing experience in
many areas that serve common Arab interests. He also stressed the Arab
Parliament’s willingness to activate cooperation with TAG.Global in areas of
mutual interests, based on the protocol of cooperation previously signed
between the two sides in December 2021.

Additionally
Mr. Al-Asoomi discussed joint cooperation projects between the two parties,
mainly organizing a large Arab and international conference on cybersecurity,
affirming the need for promoting cooperation in the digital transformation
field; based on the fact that TAG.Global has a great experience in this domain.

For
his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also affirmed TAG.Global’s keenness on activating
cooperation with the Arab Parliament, considering it the ‘Representative of the
Arab Peoples’. He emphasized TAG.Global’s readiness to devote all its resources
to strengthen cooperation with the Parliament in several fields, including
digital transformation in parliamentary work and activities, sustainable
development in its holistic sense, and the organization of informative training
courses on topics related to parliamentary activities.
