AMMAN – Mr. Rick Wiles of the US-based
TruNews TV has hosted HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), to talk about global economic and political
prospects.

During the interview, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
reaffirmed his previous statement on the need for a new World Order, saying:
“Today, the world believes in the need for this New World Order, and the
possibility of a global war is becoming high.”

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his concern
regarding the world leaders’ indifference about the global climate change
caused by the rising levels of pollution, describing it as the greatest
challenge affecting human life.

On the current Russia-Ukraine war, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his concern that it is the beginning of a World War III
and not just a war between two countries, which obviously will continue in
different phases, though unlike the two previous world wars; explaining that
this war will not involve occupation, but will be a combination of political
war, economic war and sanctions.

For the role NATO plays in Russia's war on
Ukraine, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that the war did not happen unexpectedly, as
the dispute had been building up since 2014. He added that neither the United
Nations nor the most influential countries had made any effort to resolve the
dispute in its early stages.

He noted that this dispute between the two
countries was allowed to worsen right in front of the eyes of everyone, until
it developed into political and a military confrontation.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh further stated there was
a possibility to avoid the war by dialogue, wisdom, and substantive negotiation
away from narrow interests and political impulses, which , unfortunately, did
not happen.

“We are currently in the midst of this
third comprehensive global economic war; the war of sanctions and boycotts, as
well as the destruction of economic, financial and commercial cooperation
networks, imposing barriers and restrictions to trade and cutting off
communication channels without any consideration of the serious consequences of
such actions, which have begun to overshadow everyone,” Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh pointed out
that China is entirely on Russia’s  side
step by step, as an active partner in the war from the first minute. He stated
that the world is presently heading towards a bad end if there is no agreement
between the two parties – China and Russia on the one hand, the US and UK on
the other.
