DecemberDr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Launches Expert Scholarship in Syria’s Reconstruction Field
AMMAN – In a groundbreaking
step toward supporting and promoting reconstruction efforts in the regions
affected by the devastating impacts of wars and conflicts, HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global),
announced the launch of a special scholarship for experts specializing in
reconstruction fields. The scholarship will support cadres in Syria, Lebanon,
and the Gaza Strip, with a special focus on health, architecture, project
management as well as community and social development.
This initiative comes as part
of a series of programs designed to empower competencies and enhance technical
and administrative capabilities to achieve sustainable reconstruction efforts’
success.
In this regard, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh emphasized that the major challenges the region is currently
facing require united efforts and innovative solutions. Accordingly, such newly
introduced scholarship would positively and effectively contribute to building
the spirit of collective cooperation for reconstruction process, in a manner
that reflects hope and progress.
He further explained that
the scholarship includes five specialized diplomas tailored to address
the needs of reconstruction efforts, whether in Gaza, Syria, or Lebanon. These
diplomas focus on key areas such as urban planning, project design, public
health, and community development, offering experts an exceptional opportunity
to refine their skills and contribute to improving the lives of affected
communities.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh further
added: “The experts participating in this scholarship are not only specialists;
rather they are pioneers and leaders of change, seeking to restore hope and
drive tangible progress”. He also highlighted that the scholarship also
aims to enhance interaction and exchange of knowledge between experts and local
communities, contributing to building bridges of cooperation and mutual
understanding across Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon.
He went on to add that the

Palestine and Syria, offering a significant opportunity for experts who seek to
contribute to improving living conditions and enhancing stability.
