Abu-Ghazaleh and Global South Universities Association President Discuss Means of Cooperation

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder
and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has received in his
office the Founder and Group Executive President of Global South Universities
Association (GSUA), HE Mr. Abdul Dowale Mohammed, to discuss cooperation in
various fields.

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
expressed his appreciation for the effective role the Association plays in
promoting and advancing education and scientific research in the Global South,
saying, “Such cooperation is a testament of our shared commitment to
cultivating talent, fostering innovation, and addressing the educational
challenges facing the world.”

Within the same context, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
mentioned that TAG.Global will launch its TAGEPEDIA Knowledge educational
platform shortly, indicating that the Platform was developed by specialized in
programming TAG.Global’s cadres in a mechanism that easily and effectively
meets the users’ and students’ needs and expectations. He continued by pointing
out that the Platform was established to keep pace with the technological
development and digital learning which plays a pivotal role in the future of
education.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that
TAG.Global plays an important role in the digital revolution, as its capacity
building and skills development services, particularly its learning and
training techniques and tools, are based on ICT.

For his part, the Association President
expressed his pride in visiting Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh at TAG.Global premises,
stressing the importance of international partnerships and cooperation in
achieving education vision and mission. He confirmed that the Association is
dedicated to advancing the education and scientific research sector in the
Global South, bringing together universities and academic institutions from
diverse regions to collaborate on initiatives that promote academic excellence,
innovation, and sustainable development.

The two parties also agreed to cooperate
on organizing the Global South Universities Association Conference, which will
take place in Jordan next May, with the participation of high-ranking
personalities and institutions from different countries worldwide.



It is worth mentioning that the Global South
Universities Association (GSUA) is one of the initiatives launched by the
Africa Asia Scholars Global Network (AASGON) - the Signatory to the UN Global
Compact and Member of the UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development (UKSSD).
It aims to advance education and research in the Global South by bringing
together universities and academic institutions from various regions to
collaborate on launching initiatives that promote academic excellence,
innovation, and sustainable development.
