April‘Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation’ Participates in AACSB Conference

University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh
Global (TAG.Global), has participated in the activities of the International
Conference of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)
organized for deans of business schools, held in Texas, the United States of
America. TAGUCI, a member of the AACSB, was represented by its Dean, Dr. Naser
Al-Nsor.
The 3-day Conference convened
in-person for the first time in three years with the participation of more than
600 academic figures including deans and heads of business schools in the
world.
During the Conference, Dr.
Al-Nsor pointed out the importance of participating in the Conference at the
international level to learn more about the latest developments relevant to
international accreditations. That is in addition to recognizing the global
trends in higher education and leveraging from them in developing programs
offered by the University College; in line with the vision of HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.Global founder and chairman, for the digital transformation
of education and restructuring its processes to keep pace with current and
future developments and needs.
The Conference sessions
covered several topics; including, the revision of new international
accreditation requirements related to the educational institutions’ strategies
and plans, to be more influential. That is in addition to the need to find
new educational models ; that aims to change study plans and teaching
skills and capacities rather than transforming traditional face-to-face
curriculum to digital and online learning.
The Conference also focused on
sustainability and social responsibility, the important role of business
colleges in contributing to finding solutions to global crises such as the
climate crisis, poverty, and inflation, as well as the need to build capacities
and skills of graduates to meet labor market requirements.
During the sessions,
suggestions were made to update the study plans to empower students with
digital skills that meet the needs of business organizations, and mechanism for
utilizing artificial intelligence tools in education as in the
"ChatGPT" tool.
