Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), jointly with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation

and societal cancer effects.
The
session was organized as part of the TAG-Forum’s national role in supporting
the Foundation’s educational and awareness-raising efforts throughout the year,
especially in the month of February, and it focused on five key topics of
cancer prevention, namely; healthy nutrition, quitting smoking, exercise,
cancer care insurance, and periodic screening.
During
the session, Pharmacist Dr. Nada Al Tamimi, reviewed ways of preventing
communicable diseases in general and cancer in particular, addressing a number
of relevant issues such as smoking, healthy food, sports activity, and
environmental pollution, in addition to the importance of conducting early
cancer detection.
It
is worth mentioning that the World Cancer Day is an international day marked
annually on February 4, to raise awareness of cancer risks through prevention,
early detection, and treatment. Cancer is considered one of the leading cause
of death globally.
