Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Lectures at the Royal Jordanian Command College on ‘Knowledge Economy’

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder
and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has delivered a lecture
to the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College (RJCSC) trainees’ course, that
included students from brotherly and friendly countries, entitled ‘Knowledge
Economy and Digital Transformation’. The session was held in the presence of
the RJCSC Commander, Brigadier General Thaher Al Meqdad, and faculty members.

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
expressed his pride in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), as well as the
College which serves as a significant scientific hub in the Kingdom under the
leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.

“The Fourth Industrial Revolution is a
revolution of Knowledge and ICT that differs from its predecessors, in terms of
significantly affecting all aspects of human life,” Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said,
noting that “education plays a fundamental role in preparing the next
generations to deal with the knowledge economy”, pointing out that knowledge is
the backbone for manufacturing and service industries.

He further talked about TAG.Global’s
success stroy; which operates through its 100+ offices around the world,
communicating amongst them and with their clients through advanced information
technology.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh further said that “The
country’s role is to achieve self-sufficiency in food, medicine and information
technology, in addition to shifting from traditional education to
self-learning.” He underlined the importance of introducing new educational
systems that are in line with knowledge development since knowledge economy
necessitates obtaining skills by all cadres in companies and institutions more
than ever.

At the end of the meeting, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh answered the students ' questions and inquiries in an extensive
discussion.
