DUBAI - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder
and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), was awarded with the
International Development and Peace Makers Award by the International
Conference of Development and Peace Makers held in Dubai.

The Conference, organized by the
Arab-European Center for Human Rights and International Law (AECHRIL) with the
participation of the Arab Federation for Development and Economic Integration,
took place as part of the celebrations of the UAE's National Day and Human
Rights Day; in the presence of a host of public and high-ranking Arab
dignitaries.

The Award was received  by TAG.Global Partnership and Development
Executive Director, Ms. Joa’an Abu-Ghazaleh, on behalf of Dr. Talal Abu
Ghazaleh.

During the Conference, the International
Award for Outstanding Achievements in Philanthropy was presented to HRH
Princess Sameera Bint Muhammad Al Saud in recognition of her social and
community contributions.  Mr. Mohammed
Reza Nasrallah, former Shura Council member and Dr. Ahmed Shuwaikhat, director
general of the Arabic encyclopedia project and a former Shura Council member
were also honored.

The Conference was attended by
high-ranking personalities including the Chairman of the Department of Civil
Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah, HE Eng. Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al-Qasimi; the guest
of honor Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, HE
Ambassador Suha El-Gendy.
