AMMAN
- The Australian-Jordanian Community Association (AJCA) has honored HE Dr.
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global
(TAG.Global), by awarding him the Association’s Shield in recognition of his
role as a leading Jordanian-Arab international figure. The Shield was presented
by the Association’s President, Eng. Mohammed Alqadi.

During
the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in this honor, extending his
gratitude for such a historic moment to be acknowledged by an Arab community in
a western country. He also thanked the Association and Arab Community for this
great gesture.

“My
personal mission has always been to prove to the entire world that Arabs are
trustworthy and capable of creating change. While, all the attempts of the
Zionist enemy to prove otherwise have only fueled my determination and my
increased sense of pride that I am a Palestinian, a Jordanian, and an Arab who
was welcomed and supported by all Arab countries,” Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated,
adding: “by my determination to deliver his message, I managed to successfully
outperform my enemy by accomplishing what the enemy could not.” He
 recalled that he was the first to advocate for climate change, while
today some reports indicate that ‘human civilization will collapse by 2050, if
we don't stop the harm we cause to the climate, as this threat is considered
existential to human beings.

In
the same context, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh addressed a message to all Arab youth,
urging them to challenge the status quo and start planning for their future to
boost their country’s economy. He also warned the Arab youth against all
aspects of negativities, emphasizing that they should fully understand that
they are the future of their countries.

For
his part, Eng. Alqadi stated that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is the first Arab
personality to be honored by the Association outside Australia, noting that
this honor comes in recognition of his leading global role.

He
said that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh does not need this acknowledgement, however, the
Association and the Arab Community in Australia are honored to present him with
a symbolic shield as a gesture of respect, gratitude and admiration.

“Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh’s life journey is considered a concept for self-made people, from
which we all learn, especially since throughout this march of success he
devoted his life to serve the entire world,” Eng. Alqadi stated.

Furthermore,
Eng. Alqadi called for cooperation between the Association and TAG.Global
through the dissemination of TAG.Global’s services in Australia, especially in
the Arab Community. Accordingly, the two parties agreed on signing a
cooperation agreement in this area.

(AJCA) was founded by a group of Jordanian people interested in Jordanian
affairs in Australia and it aims to strengthen Jordan's role as a country of
peace and stability.
