‘Abu-Ghazaleh’ Concludes ‘Crisis Management’ Training Program for Government Officials in Aswan Governorate

CAIRO - Talal Abu Ghazaleh Professional
Training Group, a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has
concluded a training program on ‘Crisis Management’ for a host of Aswan
Governorate officials.

The program took place at the Aswan
Governorate’s premises with the participation of heads of local units in the
governorate including (Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Daraw), as well as staff members
from the Governorate’s Technical Office.

The four-day program, organized in
cooperation with the Om Habibeh Foundation (OHF), an organization under the
umbrella of the Aga Khan Development Network, tackled the obstacles and the
challenges the governorate is currently facing, including floods and the
Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The program also addressed several crisis
management-related topics such as concept of crisis, its impact on environment,
causes of crises, their characteristics, and phase classifications. That is in
addition to crisis response strategies, techniques and tactics.

The participants, further, touched upon
ways of managing crisis phases, means of improving crisis management by the
society and the administrative apparatus, elements of successful crisis
management, the necessary equipment for the crisis management center, crisis
management planning, and other issues.

At the end of the program, certificates of
attendance were presented to participants by representatives of the organizing
bodies including Mr. Moh'd A. Mosa, assistant training manager at TAG.Global
Egypt Office, who represented Talal Abu Ghazaleh Professional Training Group,
and Dr. Rami Yousef, a lecturer, and Dr. Hanan Elgundy, OHF general director,.



At the end of the ceremony, participants
expressed their thanks to the organizers for conducting such a program.
