SeptemberHH Prince Mired Receives Dr Talal Abu Ghazaleh, TAG.Global Chairman
AMMAN – His Royal Highness Prince Mired
bin Raad, president of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers (HCDS),
received HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh
Global (TAG.Global) at the Commission’s premises.
During the meeting, His Highness drew
particular attention to the importance of the participatory relationship
between various national institutions in serving the country and its citizens,
as well as in reducing poverty and unemployment in order to achieve economic
balance in society.
He further commended the role TAG.Global
plays in the field of social responsibility, and its eagerness to launch
sustainable initiatives that support various key development sectors.
For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed
his pride and respect for the injured servicemen who often offer brave
sacrifices to defend and serve their homeland, praising their utmost role in
maintaining such a high level of security and stability in our country. He also
appreciated the role HCDS plays in rehabilitating those injured personnel and
their families by training them in professions that are appropriate to their
tendencies and abilities.
Means of cooperation and coordination between
the two sides for the benefit of the injured military personnel and their
families were discussed during the meeting, which was attended by HCDS
Director-General, retired Brig. Gen. Moran Turk.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
toured the HCDS facilities and visited its various departments, where he was
briefed on the mechanism of its work as well as the most important duties the
Commission carries out. At the end of the tour, he expressed his admiration for
the level of services provided by the HCDS to the injured military personnel
and their families.
