‘Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum’ and ‘Arab Media Center Sign Strategic Partnership

AMMAN – Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global
(TAG.Global), and the Arab Women Media Center signed an agreement to cooperate
in organizing events, seminars and awareness-raising activities that serves
members of the community in various governorates throughout the Kingdom.

The agreement,
which was signed in the presence of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and
chairman of TAG.Global, comes as part of the participatory relations between
the Center and TAG-KF to serve the local community. 

During the signing
ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed the important role the Arab and Palestinian
media profession plays, noting the importance of defending the Palestinian
Cause in light of all media disinformation and propaganda.

He, further,
underlined the prominent strategic partnership between the Center and the
Forum, in which the two parties seek to achieve the same message that expresses
the nation’s rights, demands and issues. Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed
the need of digitally empowering media women in the knowledge era and the
Fourth Industrial Revolution, especially in light of the tremendous development
and digital transformation in order to counter media attacks in various
traditional and modern ways.

Journalist Mahasen
Al-Imam, founder and director of the Arab Women Media Center, referred to the
Center’s relationship with TAG-KF affirming that it is based on
cooperation and shared visions and goals. She indicated that signing such
agreement with TAG-KF comes as a
result of cooperation that the
Center is committed to implementing to serve joint action.

For his part,
TAG.Global Education and Youth Advisor and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum
(TAG-KF) Executive Director, Dr. Fadi Daoud, announced the launch of the ‘Best
Biography Writer of Journalist Shireen Abu Akleh Contest’ in cooperation with
the Arab Women Media Center. The biography, will then be documented, published,
translated, and available in the Arab region and around the world through Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh International Press and Publishing (TAG-Publication), a member
firm of TAG.Global.

Additionally, the
two sides agreed on organizing the Eighteenth Arab Women Media Conference in
November 2022, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint
Talal, which will take place in Madaba, the Arab Tourism Capital for 2022.



It is worth mentioning that
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh supported the Center by providing the TAG-DC tablet devices,
manufactured and produced by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAG.Tech).
